Defense, before the breach.
Brand, product visuals and motion for a company that monitors the spaces where attacks are prepared, forums, leaks, supply chains, dark markets, and alerts before an organization is targeted.
The question
Premune watches the places where attacks get prepared: forums, leak sites, supply chains, dark markets. It alerts an organisation before it's targeted. Its line says it plainly: defense, before the breach. Our job was the brand, the product visuals and the motion around it.
The identity
The logo pairs a small mark, three short serifed strokes standing on a stepped line, with a serif wordmark. On the deep purple ground it sits in lilac.
Colour is a short list with names you can remember. Vault, a purple close to black, is the primary colour for interfaces. Signal, a brighter violet, is kept for highlights and alerts. Frost and Veil are cool lilacs for surfaces and backgrounds, and Carbon is a dark slate for the console. A serif carries headlines and reading text, and a monospace carries labels, hashes and anything you might copy.
The illustration
The illustration and motion were made with Grand Carnival. Their posters are collages: glossy purple forms like petals or horns, shards of grey glass, thin drawn lines running through it all. Next to them sits a quieter texture, a grainy blur of dark green and violet, used behind buttons, cards and the logo.
The product and motion
The product visuals are built from the same pieces. A quarterly briefing card opens on an illustration with the title "The window before." A hash card shows a SHA-256 value in monospace, with a confidence level and where it was seen. The analyst desk is a single prompt, "Ask the analyst desk...", with four modes above it: investigate, monitor, brief, verify.
The motion picks up the same pieces. In one film, short serif lines scramble and glitch before they settle on Vault. In another, the cards come in one at a time, the hash value coming into focus. A third starts on a headline sharpening out of a blur, then pushes into the texture until the analyst desk appears.
