thanks for stopping by. here's a bit more about us.
we're a small team. we move fast, and we're used to tight deadlines, so a short timeline doesn't scare us.
before anything else, we spend a lot of time understanding the project. what you're making, who it's for, where you want to take it. it's also how we find out if we're a good fit for each other, and that goes both ways. we'd rather know early than halfway through.
then comes the moodboard, probably the part we care about most. it's where we really get your vision, and where we start pushing it somewhere coherent and a little unexpected. we want the result to be original, but above all to work, and to keep working years from now.
a bit of history. before Office Commun we ran logotype.org, a logo service built a bit like a factory. we worked with more than 200 clients in a few months and learned a lot from it: how to read a brief quickly, how to deliver, how to look after many people at once. it was frustrating too. we would hand over a logo and never get to touch the rest, the website, the packaging, the voice, everything around it. that's a big part of why Office Commun exists. today we would rather build a whole system that lasts than just a mark.
a few examples. for Karda, a product design studio, we built the identity around the Kardashev scale, the one scientists use to rank civilisations by the energy they can use. for Figr, we went with oil paintings, borrowed from fashion and luxury, to bring something human to ai for online stores. for Public, we made a system that steps back so the art can breathe.
we also build our own tools. Search, our browser. Office Inspiration, the moodboard app we use on every project. and Blueprint, where we make our pattern generators and the small tools behind the files we send to our clients. making them keeps us picky about details, the same ones we look after in your work.
