Put your app in AI.
Launch film for Layo, the platform for building apps that live inside AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude, from the interface to the data to the publish button.
The question
Layo lets a business build its own app inside AI assistants. You design the interface, connect your data, and publish it to ChatGPT and Claude from one place. We made the launch film. The question was how to show a product that lives inside someone else's chat window.
The idea
We told it as one small story: a person asks ChatGPT to book a hotel in New York. Without Layo, the answer is "Sorry, I can't help with that." With it, a hotel brand's own app shows up right in the conversation. The type is calm and plain, on white, with soft blue gradients rising from the corners.
The problem
It opens on a single prompt bar: your customers just asked AI to do your job. A phone appears, the request goes in, and the assistant has nothing to give. And you weren't there. Then one line, typed out on the gradient: be the answer.
The product
Three short beats walk through Layo. Build the interface, with a prompt asking Layo AI to make the room cards clickable and a hotel card dropping onto a map. Connect your data, with a table of hotels and prices. Deploy everywhere, with a publish button, then ChatGPT and Claude switching to active one after the other.
The ending
The same request comes back. This time the answer is a map of the city with hotels from Stayspot, ready to book. Your app. Right when they need it. Then the Layo mark, typed out like everything else.
